Our RNs and LPNs provide both basic and advanced foot care services with the highest standards of infection control practices for foot care tools and techniques.

 

Basic Foot Care

Basic foot care services emcompass:

  • Basic nail care
  • Dry cracked heel care
  • Thickened and/or fungal nail care
  • The ageing foot
  • Those who have problems seeing and reaching feet to care for them
  • Prevention, care and education
  • Foot implements – toe tubes, toe spacers, hammer toe crest

Advanced Foot Care

Advanced foot care for a person who has diabetes and/or circulation concerns encompasses:

  • Basic nail care
  • Dry cracked heel care
  • Thickened and/or fungal nail care
  • The ageing foot
  • Those who have problems seeing and reaching feet to care for them
  • Prevention, care and education
  • Foot implements – toe tubes, toe spacers, hammer toe crest
  • Foot, ankle and lower leg swelling
  • Neuropathy or loss of sensation in feet
  • Foot ulcers or sores that are slow to heal
